On this site you will find profiles and the work of Antioch artists. God made us and God made us experiential. It was His plan that symbolism, beauty and creativity would move and inspire us. For this reason, God gives many men and women artistic ability and gifts. At Antioch, we believe that far too often artists have to check their talent at the church door as they come in to worship God. It is our desire that artists be affirmed in their talent and gifting, and that the community as a whole would benefit from their creativity, symbolism, and expressions of meaning and beauty. We don’t want a stale institutional church, but rather a vibrant and exciting gathering of God’s people that is infused with all the meaning and vibrancy that comes from the arts! If you are an artist at heart (even if you don’t make a living from your art), we value you and want to benefit from the talent God has given you. It is our prayer that your gifts would benefit us all as we seek collectively to be moved beyond complacency, boredom, and routine into a vital, rich, and experiential connection with God.
